HOW TO BE A PART OF THE COME INTO OUR WHIRL POETS NICHE ANTHOLOGY

Hi Poets, we're ready!!! THIS IS IT!

After much hard work and preparation, we're ready to publish the FIRST Anthology of Poets Niche Poetry. It's tentatively entitled Come Into Our Whirl (those of you who've been with us a while know the reference: Inspiration #46) and a preliminary page has been devoted to it on the Poets Niche website. Please check it out

I already see it! It's hardcover, 5.5" x 8.5" featuring the poetry, bios/profiles of the members, an email history of the niche, and a slammin color cover! Gustave Blache, an artist whose work usually sells for $10,000 or more a piece, and who's a friend of the Poets Niche, has agreed to do a painting especially for the cover.

(As usual there'll also be the usual "Walt Surprises" that I can't tell you about now!) Trust me, you'll want a copy of this for yourself for your kids, for your friends and especially your enemies! I also see a companion audio tape! PLUS, it'll be the first in what will be a popular series designed not only to help the poets, but can lead to anything else in the way (Imagine all the fun of a book signing with 50 of us at Borders!)

TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN, WE NEED YOUR PLEDGE i.e.HELP!

We need $3500 (plus some other expenses) to produce 1000 copies of Come into Our Whirl

Therefore, if at least 50 of us invest $69 (more if you can swing it), we can do this.

Here's what you'll get in return (all figures subject to some final number crunching)

  • 2 or 3 of your poems included
  • your bio and picture (if you wish)
  • copy of the book when released
  • royalty for each book sold (remember this is about us being profitable--details provided in a short contract)
  • a commision (~$1.00) for each referral sale. (you can start now sending people to the site)
  • anything else I can think of to sweeten the pot without breaking the bank! (mixing metaphors again)

    We're looking at an August 1999 release date, so we need to send it into production within the next 30 days! The growth of this thing has been great! People are hearing about us more and more and coming on board! Where we take it from here is all dependent on what we're commited to doing as a group!
