Tina Marie Clark (c) lryicist@bellsouth.net =================================================== IT'S OK TO DIE I remember the day you reached down and placed your hand on my head. The time you put your arm around my shoulder. That look of yours, a little smirk, anyone else would have thought you were mad. I loved you Dad. I remember where we fished. The barbecues, and the trips to the Blue Hills. I'd have my line in the water and you'd tell me, sit still. I was young then, so were you. I thought it would be forever, I never knew. I used to blame you for holding me back. I didn't understand then, but now I do. I wanted to show you what I could do. All the wheeling and dealing what I really wanted was you. I know you loved me, and I know you cared. That's why when it's time to go I won't be scared. I remember the day you had to go. I knew it in my heart, I knew it was so. I stood by the stone for many a day. I needed guidance. I expected you to tell me the way. Dad I love you, I know you're here. When I get called I'll see you there. Roy Solomon (c) RSBS1111@aol.com
